Christmas is inching closer ... or flying... depending on what's going on in your life. :o)
The last few days we have been in a flurry of hurry up and wait activity as my 93 year old father in law heads closer to being with his departed wife in Heaven. On Jan.5 it will be 5 years since she went to dance with Jesus. Dad is so ready to be reunited with her!
It's just so hard on us that are left behind.
Hospice has been called in now. He seems ok one minute and failing the next.
He has also been having bouts with something I've never heard of before, but my nurse daughter told us about. It's called Sundowner Syndrome. Really threw us for a loop from this gentle God loving man. But they are finally able to combat it a bit with medication.
