New Year's Early Works

 

 I'll have new Early Works primitives live on the 31st.

The timing of which, may be sooner, as our daughter in law let us know about half hour ago that she's having contractions.... our 8th grandbaby!  My husband and I have quarantined ourselves for quite awhile now so we can watch their 4 year old, and allow our son to be there for the birth of his daughter. Yep, a girl! That's 4 grandsons and 4 grand daughters! So excited! But in a year of Covid, extra precautions.

Would love any prayers you can send their way.

May Early Works ~

I hope this finds you all well. 
It's been a pretty surreal time this year for all of us.

I've got two nurse daughters, one in Covid unit, the other a NICU nurse where mama's that have Covid are giving birth.

I'm doing what I can to help by sewing masks and scrub hats for all who need.

I've also got a couple of items in my Early Works shoppe that will go live the afternoon of April 30.

Spring at Barefoot Primitives ~ Early Works

 ~~~**~~~

 Welcome Spring!

All of us have been affected in one way or another by Covid-19.

I do want to assure you that we are staying home, cleaning like crazy, even more than regular, and are healthy and fine.

 I'm a hugger, and that's one of the things I miss the most is hugging my parents (who are in their 80's), and my kids and grand kids.

I've been busy sewing face masks for my two nurse daughters and their co workers. It's not exactly what they need, but it's better than nothing. I've also got a neighbor whose a nurse, and I've given her face masks as well. Using ties instead of elastic is not what they need.

Here's just a few that have been sent:

I know a lot of sewers are hitting their machines with gusto to help out. Thank You! 

And thank you so much for all the Medical Workers, Police, Fire, EMT's,  people delivering food to others and so many more that are working tirelessly to help us.
