The Word....

Recently, something our pastor said has really been sticking with me... I'm sure he'd be glad to know I was paying attention! ;o)

 he said,

" What's inside of you comes out when you're squeezed." 

Basically meaning, when things are going rough, how do you react, with God's love or bad temper/words, etc. 

~ Human emotions ~

We all mess up, and yes, you ask God for forgiveness, but that simple little statement has been staying at the front of my mind.

....the joy of the Lord is your strength.

~ Nehemiah 8:10

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Early Works 'n the New Year

Well we ended 2015 with burying my father in law yesterday.
He was a Godly man and a wonderful example to us all.
93 years -- not half bad dad!

Merry Christmas!

 

 

Just a little update....

My father in law went to be with the Lord at 1:10a.m. Christmas Eve.

He is now dancing in Heaven with the Lord and his wife.

It's sad for us, but he is dancing and praising and not hurting any more.
