Punkin's and Halloween and GIVE AWAY!!!

Running from summer's merciless heat is finally over for another year and the cool temps and wonderful colors of Fall are upon us.   Fall is finally here!

I came upon this great idea for pumpkin decorating and wanted to share it....

They took a regular 'ol punkin', painted it white and then did a decoupage treatment from the pages of a 1965 dictionary! I thought this was so cool!  No mess no fuss!  And the painting seals the punkin' and it'll last longer. More ideas like this came from COUNTRY LIVING online

I admit, with the kiddos all grown and gone, I  haven't carved a pumpkin for awhile... but I might just have to try something like this!

GIVE AWAY!!!
So how do  you decorate your punkin's or your home inside or out? Or maybe you have a little Halloween tradition you really like?  Let me know and you'll be entered to win this SCARECROW ORNIE!  Add a linkie to me from your blog or website and you'll have another chance to win!  Winner's name will be drawn Oct. 9th!
