How Does Your Garden Grow?

Thought I'd share a few pics of this year's veggie garden.
For years 'n years I great great big 'ol gardens to feed my family, then canned the surplus.
As my kids got older and left the house, life changed and I thought I'd try my hand at container gardening. For me - it was a huge bust. After 3-4 years of trying different things, I gave up and told my husband I was going back to a bigger garden. Not as much as I used to, but bigger than I have for quite awhile.
And - I'm - Loving - It!

Since there's tons of wild life around here, I knew I needed a fence now....

While I was out picking more zucchini, yellow squash, cucumbers and peppers today I snapped a few more pics....

Cukes...

Mini punkin's...

Tons of blooms on my big punkins...

I've already gotten a few Roma tomatoes, waiting on my big guys to redden' up now!

Spaghetti Squash..

Zucchini....

Sunflowers...

Pear and Apple trees are doing pretty well so far too!

I've been working on my home made Million Dollar Relish and it's finally getting close to canning time. Hope your gardens are doing well my friends!

I wish I could say my garden is doing as well....my tomatoes have caught 'the wilt' and I have to keep an eye on all my squash and pumpkins each day to make certain squash beetles aren't attacking them. It's been frustrating...
