WSOAPP Grand Opening

Whew! What a day! Friday I canned 29 pints of salsa and today 35 pints! Again I say, WHEW! And yep, we all love salsa around here. ;o)

I wanted to mention that Sunday Aug. 1 is the grand opening for WSOAPP.org!

Our brand spankin' new website is up and running with really cool features, talented artisans, door prizes, even a $50.00 prize you can spend with us!

So stop on by and check out all the wonderful goodies! Oh and many of our artists are having other give away's in their shops! Check the left side bar for each shoppe announcement!

I've got great little Halloween tags to put in every order, along with other goodies I always like to toss in... plus there will be a drawing for another bowl filler of little hand made brooms, shown in my shop announcement! I've also created a new Halloween piece just for our opening, and she will be listed on ebay about 3:00pm CST.

A new project.....

Nope, not a doll or critter this time folks... but a swing top! Our old one was tattered and plum done in, so I thought I'd save some money and attempt to make a new one. It took me longer by my procrastination and intimidation of this big project more than anything, but well, not half bad if I do say so myself. This one is made of canvas and after putting it on (and half way being shocked that it fit), it was sprayed with waterproofing and walla!

Now my husband seems to think I can reupholster our '55 Chevy ~~ NOT! ~~
