One of my Kindred Sisters came across this wonderful blog (click logo above to go there). A Comfort Doll project has been started where one special gal has found it in her heart to collect art donations to send to battered women shelters across the United States!
Our group, KSGP, Kindred Sisters Gathering Post, has decided to take up this challenge as well. We're making comfort dolls to send to this heart warming project. Below are a few I'm sending off.... Scripture Dolls... they open up and a couple of scriptures are stitched inside.
As artists, we all have scraps of material and big hearts! Get together with your your groups or send off some Comfort Dolls on your own to this sweet lady. ~ Blessings to you my friends!
