Well I've been side lined by... a sinus infection the last week. Thankfully it wasn't the flu. Of course getting sick puts you behind on so many things, most of all, trying to have a clear enough head to read my devotions. So I played a little catch up and here's a few things I wanted to share:
God wants us to view each day as an adventure, carefully planned out by Him. Don't try to program the day ahead to your will, be attentive to God and all He has prepared for you.
Each day of life is a precious, unrepeatable gift. ( I love that line! We tend to take life for granted sometimes, just going from one day to the next, one holiday off work to the next, etc. He has given us such a wonderful gift)
Thank Him and Trust Him, that He is with you each moment, whether you sense Him or not. A life lived close to God will never be dull or predictable. Expect each day to contain surprises! Resist the easy route and be ready to follow where He leads. No matter how steep or treacherous the path before you, the safest place is by His side.
Psalm 118:24 This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
1 Peter 2:21 To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.

Thanks for sharing the bible verses. I'm really bad at planning my perfect day and then something happens and I'm way behind.
I hear ya sista! I just try to get in a bit with my a.m. coffee, keep off computer and it really doesn't take long at all - and is such a blessing on how your day goes! :o)
